Gary and Jan,

Please accept our heartfelt condolences and know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. Your loss is great and it’s a loss that is felt by everyone who knew Neil.

From the time Neil was a child he exhibited his true nature, one of kindness and caring towards others. There are very few people in the world today that are truly kind, caring and unselfish, Neil was one of those few. From the moment you met Neil you couldn’t help but instantly like him, his kindness towards others was there for all to see.

Neil will be deeply missed by all who knew him, your loss is a loss that is shared by all who were touched by Neil’s life.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Neil’s sudden passing. Although I never had the privilege of meeting Neil in person here at BMO, we had numerous interactions via phone and internal messaging. As busy as Neil was, he always had time to offer help or advice. In addition to being a genuinely nice person, it immediately became clear that he was a person with integrity who cared about his job and those whom he supported. When Neil said that he would look into something or call back, he did. He exemplified what it means to be a BMO employee and was a great asset to us all. He will be greatly missed.

My deepest condolences to Neil’s Mom & Dad and family.

My sincerest condolences to Neil's family. I spent most of my time sitting beside him in my initial role at BMO and found him to be a very reserved, kind, down to Earth spirit.

Just a very sincere human being who exemplified kindness.
God Bless him & his family.

I am very shocked that Neil has passed away and I offer my sincerest condolences.

Neil was a very sincere young man and very passionate about learning. I remember way back when I hired him for a work term during his college course and he was very keen on learning "everything". We went to lunch together a few times during the years after that and I remember him as a very kind and honest person who cared about people. Rest in peace my friend.

I am still in shock at Neil's sudden passing. I worked with Neil at BMO and was just becoming friends with Neil over the last few months. We were often the last two in the office at the end of the day and we would talk about our shared interests.
My condolences to Neil's family.

Dear Jan and Gary,

I am touched deeply by all the beautiful messages that have been written by Neil's family members and friends. It is true. at least with Neil, that the good die young. There are no words to express the depth of caring for your sorrow and there are no words that can heal. Just know that we care deeply. I will bring hugs and love from everyone here when I see you tomorrow. I send you my love always.

Dearest Janice and Gary,

May God's grace and understanding be with you all the days and hours of your lives to come, minute by minute, as you continue to grieve this incredulous loss of your beautiful boy, Neil Lloyd.

Even if we do not understand why such painful, heartfelt loss is possible to even exist, especially for loving parents to cope with -- you three are each and together, forever and ever, surrounded by and filled within by God's reliable, strong, steadfast and deep, deep dependable, limitless love.

Although I did not have the joy of meeting you, dear Neil, I am reading such wonderous, heartfelt messages about you, I know you to be a prince of peace, a giant among men and a loving, caring spirit who will always be a beacon of hope for mankind. One who served God well. With love to you and your mom and dad.

With deepest sympathy to Janice and Gary,
Cousin Karen

Janice & Gary,

I was just so heartbroken to hear of Neil's passing. You have endured the greatest heartache one can, the passing of your beautiful son, and I am so so sorry for your loss. Since hearing of this devastating news, my thoughts have been with your both so often. I'm sorry the distance made traveling home for his Celebration of Life too difficult. Please know my heart was with you.

Neil was like a cousin to us Kettlewell and Kelday kids growing up, always a part of our holiday celebrations. Always kind and polite he was a pleasure to be around. I am honored I had a chance to know him and he will always be a part of my childhood memories.

I'm glad I got to speak to you Janice and I am so sorry you have to endure this type of pain and loss. The bond you shared with your precious boy was everlasting. You shared an incredible mother and son bond of which many parents would envy. Thank you for sharing him with us as well. I wish you and Gary much strength, peace and healing. My thoughts and prayers are with you both.

Love Jen & Bremner Family
