Funeral Details:

In Loving Memory of Mary Warnica

(Resident of Barrie ON)

Passed away peacefully at her residence in the Bob Rumball Home on Sunday May 29th, 2016 in her 88th year.

Predeceased by her son Ernest Harold, husband Earl & sister Ann Warnica.

Survived by her brother John Kimoski of Thunder Bay, only grand child, Marc A. Warnica & his wife Sarah Warnica (Uprichard) of Barrie, and her daughter-in-law M. Carol Warnica (Vyse) of Cambridge, ON.

Her parents, immigrants from Poland, brought her & her siblings to Canada in their youth. Mary & her sister Ann married "Warnica" brothers. She enjoyed a close bond with her niece Bernice McCabe of Lillooet, B.C. She was a devoted Mother & Grandmother. A hard worker who loved waitressing for much of her life at the Pickle Barrel in Toronto, Lumpy's in Kirkfield and Davidson's restaurant at Big Bay Point in Barrie. Her customers were important to her & she loved to serve them.  Sharing her infectious humour, she knew how to make everyone smile.

She loved family outings, playing card games with her girlfriends, boating on Lake Simcoe, travelling & gardening in her leisure time.

Family wishes to thank the nurses & staff at Bob Rumble Home for The Deaf for their generous, loving care.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made by friends and family to the Alzheimer Society of Canada www.alzheimer.ca
