Funeral Details: Celebration of Caroline’s life will be held in the New Year.
It is with very heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our mom. she put up such a strong fight over the last 8 months. Caroline Sweetland peacefully passed away Monday, December 12, 2022 at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre at the age of 65, with her children Ashley (Adam) Derek and her best friend Debbie by her side.
Caroline was the beloved wife of the late Gary Sweetland (2017) who had been married for 38yrs. During those years they had two children, daughter Ashley (Adam) and son Derek. She was a cherished daughter of Gordon & Dorothy Fotherby (deceased). Dear sister of Victor Fotherby (Sue) and the late Gordon Fotherby and Donald Fotherby (Marion). Loving sister in-law to Randy and Byron (Marian). She will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
You were the BEST mom, wife, sister, auntie or friend any one could every have. You were always there for us and our biggest supporter. There wasn't a day that went by that we didn’t know we were loved. We will forever cherish the memories we have created and remember that beautiful smile and laugh you had. We will miss and love you every day until we all meet again.
