Funeral Details: David has been cremated & his ashes will be returned to Nova Scotia where a memorial will be held with family members in June.
David Beck, age 61, tragically passed away at Sunnybrook Hospital in North York after being air-lifted from Markdale Hospital in the Grey Highlands.
David succumbed to injuries received from a motor vehicle collision while travelling along Hwy 10 on his e-bike near his home outside of Markdale.
David was born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. David grew up & lived in Barrie, Hamilton, & the Grey Highlands region. David was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion in Markdale.
Survived by his father, Robert Beck, brothers Greg (Kathy), Scot (Judy), nieces & nephews, Adam, Bailee, Josh, Jessica, Jorden, Kyle.
Predeceased by his mother, Marni Crocker (Trefry), sister, Trudy, nephew, Paul.
David will be missed by all family members, his friends in the Grey Highlands Region, & his beloved dog Layla.
David has been cremated & his ashes will be returned to Nova Scotia where a memorial will be held with family members in June.

Posted on: Sunday, January 18, 2026Oh my where to start? David….as I knew him as Bubba. I wish we would have known so we could have went to pay respects. We didn’t hear from him for almost a year so had to do some digging. Bubba R.I.P. my friend were all going to miss you so much.
