Dustin Rajinder Mylod

Dustin Rajinder Mylod passed away on May 18, 2025, at the age of 40.

He is the beloved son of Sharon Jit Kaur Sunga Mylod and Jeremy Mylod. A cherished brother of Ronik Devin Mylod. Loving grandson of Harinder J.K. Sunga and the late Preetom Singh Sunga, as well as the late John J. Mylod (DFM) and the late Eileen J. Mylod (nee Donovan).

Dustin is the loving nephew of Paul S. Sunga, with whom he shared a special bond, and Nyla Sunga, Lyal Singh Sunga and Ilaria Sunga, and Seetal Kaur Sunga and Pär Forslund, and Dawn Mylod and the late John F. Mylod, and the late Anthony Mylod.

Remembered fondly by his cousins Tompi and Aminder, Taj, Kailash, Satya, Johan, Linnea, the late John Micheal, Mark Andrew and Natalie, and their daughter Mindy.

He shared a special connection with his extended family, especially with Surjeet Rai Lewis and the late Michael Lewis.

Those who knew Dustin will remember him as warm, loving, gentle, and absolutely brilliant. A computer whiz with a quick wit. In his younger years he moved with joy and confidence, whether on the field, in the dojo as a purple belt, or simply among those he loved. A gentle soul who was always ready to help others, often putting their needs before his own.
Dustin had a deep love of music, harmonizing and composing with natural talent and ease.

Life brought Dustin many challenges. Over the years his path was not an easy one, though he walked through storms, he never stopped loving or giving. Those who knew and loved him know he has found peace. They will carry many memories and remember him for his tenderness, talent, and the moments of love and light he gave to those around him.  He is loved and missed.
