Janice Marie Mitchell

Passed away suddenly on June 4, 2025, at the age of 79 years.

Dear daughter of the late Zelma and Robert Sluman.  Loving mother of Nicola Mitchell.  Lifelong best friend of the late Carolynn Thompson.  Fondly remembered by extended family Nancy Sluman, Merna Sluman (Ted, predeceased), Margo Sluman (Garry predeceased), Robin and Susana Sluman, and several other loved ones.

Janice was a proud animal lover who adored her fur babies, both cats and dogs.  She cherished her quiet time and enjoyed the simple pleasures in life—never turning down a smoke and a cold Lakers Ice.

In keeping with Janice’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
