Mary Lillian Crawford (née Tucker) passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at The Pines in Bracebridge, Ontario, at the age of 94.
Born on May 9, 1931, and raised in Toronto, Ontario to Harry Walter George Tucker and Mary Jane Diack Brown. Mary worked as a secretary for a short time, before becoming a full-time Mother and Home Provider. She also devoted a lot of her time helping the families at church when she could. She was loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Before moving to Bracebridge in April, she spent the last 3 decades residing in Barrie, Ontario.
Mary was the beloved wife of the Late James Albert Crawford, dear mother of the Late James Crawford (Jr.) and his Late wife, Chris. Sister to the Late George, Thomas and Karl, sister-in-law to the Late Audrey, Marilyn and Elmer (Budd), cherished daughter of the Late Harry and Mary Tucker.
She leaves behind her beloved sons, Barry (Candice), and Robert (Christa). Loving and cherished “Grandma” to Jamie (Lisa), Dennis (Kelly), Shawn (Jackie), Leeann (Adam), Natasha (Andrew), Curtis (Kira). Great Grandma to 10 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She also leaves behind her sister, Arlene Wilson, sister-in-law, Marilyn (Marnie), and many nieces and nephews, who will all miss her dearly.
Cremation arrangements entrusted to Peaceful Transition in Barrie, Ontario. She will be laid to rest with her beloved husband, James, at the Garden of Gethsemane at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Etobicoke, Ontario.
