Funeral Details: Private family arrangements

Passed away suddenly on July 8, 2025 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, at the age of 94 years.

Son of the late Sandford and Marjorie. Beloved husband of Beryl for 66 wonderful years.  Loving father of Mark (Rosemarie), and Carol Anne.  Cherished grandfather of Evan, Faye, Ryan, and Scott.

Bruce was born and raised in Toronto and spent most of his working life in computer sales, a career that took him to Northern Ontario, Alberta, and back to Toronto.  Upon retirement, he settled in Innisfil, where he enjoyed many fulfilling years.  Winters were spent in Florida, where Bruce was actively involved in various social clubs and events.

An avid outdoorsman, Bruce had a deep passion for hunting and fishing, especially the moose hunt.  Above all, he loved spending time with Beryl, his children, and grandchildren, and he treasured each moment with them.

Bruce will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.

In keeping with Bruce’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  At a later date, his urn will be placed privately in the family niche at Innisvale Cemetery.

Dear Auntie Beryl, Mark & Rosemarie and Carol Anne:

I am sorry to hear off the passing of Uncle Bruce and know that I’m keeping him and each of you in my thoughts at this time.

He was such a fun and engaging Uncle and I have many fond memories of him. Whether it was a Christmas meal together, camping at Killbear, out on Lake Ontario fishing or playing billiards in the basement sipping on Shirley Temples he knew how to enjoy and appreciate every moment.

I will continue to cherish these moments spent together in gratitude for having had an uncle like him.

    With love,
    John.

I was very sorry to hear that our dear friend Bruce has passed away. I give my heartfelt condolences to Beryl and her family.
I have so many memories of our times spent together at Kinsmen and Kinettes. I remember when Keith and Bruce used to meet up at Woolworth’s in Kirkland Lake for a cup of coffee and some good laughs. They were always laughing about something.

Dear Beryl, Mark, Rosemarie and Carol Anne.
I was so sorry to learn of Bruce’s passing. I first met Bruce and Beryl when I was 16 and babysat their kids. They lived right behind us in Sudbury and soon became great friends of my parents camping at Kilbear, Grundy and Florida. Bruce was so much fun to be around and I will always remember him laughing, enjoying my mom’s carrot cake. My condolences to the family.
    Love, Anne-Marie
