Donald “Don” Vernon Cain

Don Cain passed away quietly on January 1, 2026.

He was the husband of Susan Cain, father of Heather Macleod (Aaron Macleod), Diana Cain, and Katryna Holland, and grandfather to Ethan, Bennett, Alexis, Aurora, Kora, and Kira.  He was affectionately known as “Grandalf the White.”

Don will be remembered by his family and friends for his humour and his never-ending supply of dad jokes.
