Posted on: Monday, May 4, 2026Kathleen, I was so sorry to hear. As you know, I fed your mom for years! Julie was always a delight to be around! There are many memories that I will cherish of Julie. She’s at peace now and back with her love. I’m sure my husband met her at the pearly gates as well. May she rest peacefully.

Posted on: Tuesday, June 16, 2026Dear Kathleen and Deidre,
I was saddened to learn of your Mother’s passing and send you both my deepest sympathy.
I always thought of your Mom on her birthday and yesterday I searched on line for her and found her obituary.
Your mother and I were childhood friends. We lived on the same street went to the same schools and boarding school for high school. We spent our summers at Kelly Lake where Julie rode her horse in the summer. I was her matron of honour at your Mom and dad’s wedding. Her mother Margaret McLearn was a second mother to me.
Unfortunately, We lost touch after she left Burlington. My husband Gib and I live in Toronto in the Beach in our home and would love to have a chat.
