Marilyn: I was just going to message you to ask about your mother, when I saw your link to her obituary. I remember Ruth initially when she attended the Fisher Reunion at my parent’s farm. Later I spoke with her at the Barrie City Hall switchboard. After that we would have a chat when I entered Walmart on Bayfield St. She was always upbeat and smiling! She obviously loved being with people. My sympathy to all her family. I know you (Marilyn), Nancy and Dave, Julia, and I met Nancy’s girls when my daughter Amy attended Oakley Park School and Barrie North Collegiate. Please stay in touch as I treasure my connection with relatives. My dad (Clarence Fisher) and your grandmother (Viola Harris) were brother and sister. Blessings to you all.
