Passed away peacefully on April 17, 2026, at the age of 82 years.

Jeremiah was the beloved son of the late Elias and Elizabeth.  Cherished husband of Eileen for 51 years.  Devoted father to Jeanette (Tarek), and the late Jeremy, whom he looked forward to meeting again in Heaven.  He was a caring and proud grandfather to Layal and Salim.  Jeremiah will be dearly missed by his siblings Lynly “Mabel”, Andrew “McDonald”, and Lucy, and was predeceased by Magdalene, Louina, and Philiziah.  He will also be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews in the United Kingdom, Canada, and Grenada.

Jeremiah’s life was deeply rooted in his faith.  From a young age, he walked closely with the Lord and remained a devoted member of the Pentecostal Church throughout his life.  He had a passion for sharing the Word of God and faithfully supported this mission through his involvement with Gideons International, often distributing Bibles to others.

He was known for his strong work ethic and lived by the principle: “If you do something, you do it to the best of your ability.”  Jeremiah dedicated over 50 years of service to Loblaw, where he was respected for his commitment and diligence.  Even into his later years, he continued working part-time until the age of 81.

A funeral service will be held at Innisfil Community Church, 1571 Innisfil Beach Road, Innisfil, on Monday, April 20, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Innisvale Cemetery, 7551 5th Side Road, Innisfil, on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 11:30 a.m.

If desired, donations in memory of Jeremiah may be made to Kensington Hospice or Innisfil Community Church.
