Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on August 24, 2026, at the age of 53.
Scott was the beloved son of the late William and Evelyn Ferguson. Loving father to Evan (Samarah), and Owen, and grandfather to William and Alexis. He will be dearly missed by his siblings Catharine (Jim), Krista, and Shaun (Cheryl), and was predeceased by his sister Heather, and is survived by his brother-in-law Carson. Uncle to many nieces and nephews; and to many great-nieces and great-nephews. Scott will also be remembered and missed by his very special friends Lois and Vi.
Scott was known for his strong work ethic and enjoyed tackling challenging jobs, both at work and at home. For the past 15–16 years, he lived and worked in Saskatchewan as a driver moving the oil rigs for Fast Trucking Service, a career he truly loved. During that time, he built lasting friendships and created many memories.
A skilled woodworker, Scott took great pride in creating projects with his hands and appreciated the satisfaction that came from building something well. Those who knew Scott will remember his great sense of humour and his love of sports. He enjoyed watching baseball and hockey and had played both sports himself when he was younger.
Private family arrangements have taken place.
