We are announcing with heavy hearts and much sadness the passing of Anno Hundt loving husband of Barbara of 66 yrs., and wonderful father of Karen and Susan. He was born in Germany February 12, 1936, and passed away on August 31, 2026, at the age of 90 yrs. old.
Dad will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Trina (Zac), Kevin (Kay), Marylynn (Steven), Mark (Amber), and Brittany who all shared stories with dad before he passed. Dad also has 7 great grandchildren; Kora, Kali, Robbie, Dex, Ivy, Atlas, and Ainsley.
He was so loved by us all and by everyone that knew him. Dad is predeceased by his brothers Herbie, and John, his sister Wally Schierl, his brother-in-law Henry, his oldest grandson Daniel, and by his son in law Jerry (Karen).
We were able to say our goodbyes in the short time he was in the hospital in Huntsville. We would like to say a big thank you to the wonderful staff that took such good care of our dad, as they were amazing.
Dad had such a passion for soccer he played in Germany and when he came to Canada his love for the sport continued. He watched every soccer playoff and kept up with every team. He also had many soccer stories for us to hear.
Dad you will be greatly missed by all, and you will always be in our hearts, we love you Anno, Dad, and OPA ❤️❤️❤️
