Valentina Fichera

It is with sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Valentina Fichera on September 25, 2026, at the age of 99.

Valentina was the beloved wife of the late Giuseppe "Joseph" Fichera.  She was the loving mother of Ralph and Phil, and a cherished Nana to Stephanie (d), Vanessa (Kyle), and Katherine "Katie" (Chris).  She was also a devoted Great-Nana to William "Billy" (d), Ashleigh (Lucas), Starlit, Austin, Landon, and Joshua.

Family was the heart of Valentina's life.  She devoted herself not only to her own children and grandchildren but also to the many young people she welcomed into her home and heart, often treating them as her own.  Her kindness, generosity, and nurturing spirit touched the lives of countless children she cared for throughout the years.

Valentina took great pride in helping others look and feel their very best.  She gave selflessly of her time and love, always putting the needs of her family ahead of her own.  Her unwavering devotion, compassion, and gentle strength will be remembered and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Interment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery, Barrie on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 12:00 p.m.
