Family and friends are welcome and encouraged to attend the Memorial Mass, observing the current social distancing and protective masks protocol, to remember and celebrate the life of Shirley Chew. On April 8th 2020, when Shirley passed peacefully in the presence of family, the prevailing restrictions disallowed a Memorial Mass attended by family and friends. Now, with the loosening of some of the restrictions, it can proceed. Reception following the Mass at St. Mary's are now only in the contemplation stage.
Special thanks to the staff at the Bob Rumball Home for the Deaf for the personal care that Shirley received.
