It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our mother, Betty Verdin.
Betty passed away peacefully at Matthews House Hospice in Alliston, Ontario, on July 21, 2025, at the age of 95 years old.
Predeceased by her husband, Donald. Mother to Gary (Eileen), Brenda Macdonald (Steve). Grandmother to Laura (Paul), Alyssa (Oliver), and Jessica (Rob). Great-Grandmother to Avery.
Betty resided at Amica Little Lake in Barrie, Ontario, receiving loving care for the past 4 years. She was loved by staff and residents alike.
We would like to thank Betty’s Care Team at both RVH and Matthews House for their compassion in the last couple of weeks.
At Betty’s request, there will be no funeral service.
Donations can be made to a charity of your choice in Betty’s name.
