It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our cherished Carl; an amazing man who forever touched the lives of everyone around him.

His home was always open; a place he built, where everyone felt welcome, cared for, and loved. He had a way of making you feel like you belonged, no matter who you were or where you came from. His incredible ability to create and fix anything and everything wasn’t just a skill; it was an expression of his generosity and care. He poured his heart into every project, helping his entire family, always showing up, always giving.

Carl will be deeply missed and mourned by his loving wife Martha, his children, his sister, grandchildren, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His grandkids will miss their Papa dearly – his hugs, his laughter, his stories, and the warmth that filled every room he entered.

Though Carl is no longer with us, his spirit will live on in every corner oof the homes he touched, in every life he helped shape, and in the countless memories he left behind.

A service be held at Barrie Union Cemetery on Monday, November 17th, at 1:00 pm.
