Passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025 at the age of 84 years. Son of the late William and Jane Amero. Loving father of Arlene (Matthew), and Charles. Grandfather of Ryan, and Autumn. Brother of Gloria, Floyd, Shirley, Ernie, and Paul.
Charles was a hardworking man who took great pride in his work. A roofer by trade, he continued working on roofs well into his 70s. He was the owner of Lefroy Roofing and also worked with Midhurst Roofing for many years. Known for being meticulous and particular, Charles believed in doing things properly, his way, which he firmly felt was the right way. His dedication and high standards were evident in every job he completed.
In his younger years, Charles was known to be a headstrong and stubborn, though with time he mellowed, much to the appreciation of family and friends. He loved his Tim Hortons, enjoyed good company, and was well-liked by those who knew him.

I have very fond memories of him playing the guitar with Uncle Floyd while Grandpa played the fiddle and Grandma played the spoons out in your backyard in Lefroy.
