It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Corey Kenneth Todoruk-Allen, who departed this world on December 1, 2025, in his hometown of Barrie, Ontario, at the age of 30. Born on December 16, 1994, Corey was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend who touched the lives of everyone he met with his warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit.
Corey was the cherished son of Terri Todoruk, Greg Cooper, and Jamie Allen. He brought joy and laughter to everyone around him. He is survived by his cherished brothers, Chris and Jacob; his devoted Grandma Marion Cooper. He was a proud uncle to his niece, Harley; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who will all miss him dearly.
Preceding Corey in death are his beloved grandparents, Andy and Sylvia Todoruk, Ron and Heather Allen and Ralph Cooper, as well as his loyal dog, Sydney, who was always by his side and brought joy and companionship to his life.
Throughout his life, Corey demonstrated a remarkable ability to connect with others. He had a unique ability to find joy in the simplest of things and to uplift others, even in challenging times, leaving a lasting impression on friends and family alike. His laughter, compassion, and zest for life brought joy to every gathering, and his resilience inspired those who faced their own challenges.
Corey’s journey in this life was not without its trials, but he faced each obstacle with grace and determination. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff of Saint Elizabeth Health Care, especially Junior, who went above and beyond in their care for Corey. Your professionalism, kindness, and warmth were a comfort during this difficult time, and we deeply appreciate the support you provided throughout Corey’s journey.
In honor of Corey’s memory, the family invites those wishing to pay tribute to consider making a donation to The Darling Home for Kids, an organization that provides essential care and support to children with complex medical needs. Posted on: Friday, December 5, 2025Corey was in my grade at Holly Meadows Elementary and he grew up alongside me and my other classmates throughout our elementary years. You could always expect to see Corey having a blast in his walker in the halls, and being so happy at the back of the class. All the students got to take turns having lunch with him and reading a book or doing an activity with him and it was always such a joy that myself and all my other classmates looked forward to. He was truly apart of all of our core school year memories as a part of our class. I know I speak for all of our other classmates in saying that he will be greatly missed.
