Her courageous journey came to a peaceful end at home on May 26, 2025, after a brave battle with cancer.
Born on July 13, 1952, in Barrie, Ontario, she embarked on an illustrious 53-year career at Canadian Tire, starting at the age of 20, until her recent retirement due to illness.
Her presence will be deeply missed by all who cherished her quick wit, friendly banter, and radiant smile.
Dianne's love for exploration took her and her husband Gordon on incredible journeys across Canada and the U.S. Her zest for life was evident in her enthusiasm for NASCAR races, cheering on her favorite driver. She was an avid fan of hockey, curling, and reading.
Dianne's compassion for animals, especially cats, inspired her to support the Comfie Cat Shelter in Orillia.
She is survived by her loving husband Gordon of Oro, daughter Laura of Newfoundland, and her beloved cat Marlo. Her parents Joyce and Bill (deceased) Robertson, brothers and sisters Larry, Steve, Jim, Doug, Donna, Billy (deceased), and numerous loving aunts, uncles, and cousins will deeply miss her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Royal Canadian Legion Br. 147, Ferris Lane, Barrie, on June 7, 2025, from 2-5 pm, where relatives and friends are warmly invited to join us.
Donations in her honor can be made to the Comfie Cat Shelter (info@comfiecatshelter.ca) via e-transfer, cheque, or cash.
A private interment will take place at a later date at Barrie Union Cemetery.

I was trying to reach out and speak with her but did not find her contact information. When I reached out to mutual Ctc friends I was shocked to hear that she had left this world.
Great lady with so much energy who will definitely be missed by many.
