Passed away suddenly on December 5, 2025, at the age of 81 years. Dear son of the late Bruce and Clare Sullivan. Predeceased by his brothers Gord and Jim, and his sister Annemarie. Gerry will be remembered by his nieces and nephews Janice, Robert (Kim), Mark (Carrie), Richard, and Tammy (Steve); and by his many great-nieces and great-nephews Michael, Ashley, Kate, Hailey, Hillary, Hayden, Emily, Miles, Azmarah, Eli, Rayna, Nick, Alex, and Matthew.
Gerry worked for General Tire for over 30 years. He was a remarkably healthy and active man who worked out every day right up to his passing. For many years, he ran and was a trainer at Canadian Karate, where he held his black belt. Fitness and activity were central to his life, and he maintained a membership at the YMCA from his teen years onward.
Known for his meticulous and orderly nature, Gerry had a place for everything. He was affectionately known as “Uncle Grumpy,” a nickname given by those closest to him.
Thank you to the staff at RVH for their care, and thank you to his friend Wanda Reimer for being there for Gerry.
In keeping with Gerry’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
