Grace Barker

BARKER, Grace   (nee Wright)

April 19, 1931 - January 5, 2015

 On January 5, 2015, Grace Barker peacefully passed away at Mill Creek Care Centre Barrie.

She was loved by her husband Edward for 64 wonderful years.

Lovingly remembered by her children: Kim (Faith), Penny (Paul) Sandra (Brett) Grandmother of Jay,  Kelly,(Scott)  Kaitlyn, Matthew, Stephen  and Paige.  Great grandmother to Lou, Angus and Graceland.  Grace will be sadly missed by her siblings Barbara, Ellen, Muriel, and Edna.  Predeceased by her brothers Ronald and Robert and sister Gladys. Much loved by her many nieces and nephews.

She was proud of all the children she babysat, who have grown up and have families of their own.

Many thanks to Home Area Four staff at Roberta’s Place for their kindness and love shown to Grace and providing Ed a home away from home for the past 3 years.

Thanks to the staff at Mill Creek who gave such special care to Grace in her last days.  We, the family, thank them very much for their professional support.

Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Charity of your choice would be appreciated, or Grace would love you to do a good deed for a stranger.
