Posted on: Tuesday, January 6, 2015Dear Bert,
You certainly battled gallantly to stay in the home you so enjoyed and loved.
The eleven years that you and Gisela spent together went by so quickly, as you both filled moments in time with wonderful memories: joyous times you spent travelling here, there and everywhere; the home you both shared where all of Bert’s family members were always warmly welcomed; Glenn and Verna spent many holidays in this beautiful home, and Verna was taken on many trips and excursions; delicious home-cooked meals always prepared with your health and happiness utmost in mind; and so very much more.
Gisela, I feel your great loss of a wonderful companion and friend. The love you both shared has made lasting memories.
I also thank you so much for the care that Bert received from your loving hands in life, and that, in death, he was not alone.
With my love and most comforting thoughts,
Kay (Catherine) Bell

May time soothe your deep sorrow and then allow you to reflect and re-enjoy all of those cherished moments that you hold in your hearts.
