James “Jim” Arthur Ferris

Passed away peacefully on December 9, 2025, at the age of 82 years.  Jim was the devoted husband and best friend of Saranne for over 38 years.  Loving father to Joey, Tina (Paul), Justin, Leeann (Chris), Ryan, David, Christopher (Frida), and the late Jamie.  Proud grandfather of 15 and great-grandfather of 5.  Dear brother of Elsie, and predeceased by Edie and Bobby.

Jim was a fun-loving, easygoing man who brought joy wherever he went.  Known for his jokes, his jolly spirit, and his ability to make people laugh.  At times he was known to be a “party animal”.  Jim lived life with warmth, humour, and a genuine kindness that made him an amazing person to all who knew him.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
