Jeffrey “Jeff” Thomas Kubin

Jeff Kubin passed away peacefully at home on December 23^rd, 2026, at the age of 62, surrounded by his family.  He was a devoted son, loving brother, dedicated father, beloved uncle, cherished grandfather, and loyal friend.

Jeff was born on March 16, 1963, in Etobicoke to Wolfgang and Gisela Kubin.  He is survived by his mother, Gisela Kubin; his brother, Chris Kubin; his sister, Jennifer King (Jim); and his children: daughter Kandice Lynn Kubin (Steve), son Jeffrey Ryan Kubin (Natalie), and daughter Andrea Melissa Kubin (John).  He was predeceased by his father, Wolfgang Kubin.

Jeff was admired for his strong work ethic and his ability to embrace life to the fullest.  He found great joy in the outdoors and pursued many hobbies, including scuba diving, camping, hiking, bicycling, and riding his motorcycle.  Jeff also enjoyed traveling the world and meeting new people, but above all, what he cherished most was spending time with his family.

Jeff will be deeply missed not only by his family, but also by his friends and the community around him.  He had a special way of making people feel welcomed and valued.  His wisdom and thoughtful advice, the stories from his years of adventures, his great taste in music and his infectious humor will be dearly missed—but most of all, his kind and loving presence.

Jeff’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.  His legacy of love, hard work, and adventure will continue through his family and the many lives he touched.  Above all, he will be remembered as a devoted family man whose love and presence will forever be missed.
