Posted on: Sunday, December 7, 2025I was privileged to work with Lorraine in the 1980’s in the Operating Room at the Royal Victoria Hospital. She was an example of integrity and compassion to patients and staff in days when hours were long and the unexpected showed up on a moment’s notice. My life was greatly enhanced by the wonderful women and men I had the privilege of encountering. There are few of us left but memories are long and regrets are invisible. My deepest sympathy to her family. The price of love is grief that never goes away.

Posted on: Monday, December 8, 2025Aunt Lorraine had the best laugh. I always enjoyed spending time with her when she and my great Uncle Chuck would come visit us in Shebandowan. Memories are all we have in the end. I feel privileged to have known such a wonderful person. Sending much love to all her family

Posted on: Monday, December 8, 2025I grew up with Lorraine and Chuck. She has been my mom’s best friend since before I was born. I remember Chuck and Rainy making the trip out to BC. When their camper van was in the driveway, my brother and I would get so excited! We knew it would be 6 weeks of great stories, hilarious conversation, amazing dinners with a side of shopping thrown in!
Rainy has been an influential part of my life. She has been there in the best times and the most difficult times. She always brought reality, humor, and usually a curse word to any situation. I feel blessed that my boys had her in their lives from birth. We have wonderful memories of her visits.
Rainy, you had such a positive influence on everyone who knew you. I am so grateful to have had you in my life. Thinking of you always brings a smile. You will be deeply missed, and your impact will continue to be deeply felt.
Rob, Heather, Brady, and family, I appreciate you sharing your mom with us. She was always so proud of all of you and of her grandkids. I wish we could be there with you, but know we are there in spirit. Love to all of you.
