John Elmer Johnston

Passed away peacefully on March 19, 2026, at the age of 82 years.  Dear son of the late Raymond and Arvella.  Beloved husband of the late Gaile.  Loving father of Tamara (Chris), Teresa (Jim), and Tonya (Dave).

Proud Poppa of Natasha (Ryan), Connor (Matthew), Dakota (Nicole), Ashley (Conner), and Taylor (Znak), and cherished Grand Poppa of Kendra, Amylia, Henry, and Benjamin.  Brother of Raymonda (Murray), Marilyn, Larry (Heather), and the late Jane (Ross). Predeceased by his best friends Toby, Midas and Buddy, some may say they were just dogs, but to John they meant everything to him.

John spent his younger years on a farm, where he developed a strong work ethic.  He later transitioned into the construction industry, eventually becoming the owner of his own company.  He took great pride in his work and the life he built for his family.

Above all, John deeply loved his grandchildren and treasured the time spent with them.
