Born in Cornwall On, passed away peacefully in Barrie's Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on October 25, 2012 at 80 years of age. Beloved husband to Mary Helen (nee McIntyre) for 54 wonderful years. Loving father of Lorena Joan and Donna Lynn. Grandfather to Renee and Julien Laferriere. Survived by sister Joan and pre deceased by his brother Roy. Ron was a former employee of the Canadian Pacific Railway for 37 years and a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 57. As per Ron's wishes cremation has taken place, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society www.cancer.ca
