John grew up down the street from me and we first met while going to A.Y. Jackson S.S. John was always very nice and extremely funny, a very sharp wit that would crack us all up while I was working at Beck Automotive. He was a great guy and my deepest condolences go out to his family

It has been said that John put 2 1/2 years of achievement into every year of his life. He was always looking for something to do and the challenge was trying to keep up with him.
We shared many amazing adventures together. He was a very special friend and he will be very much missed.
His very best legacy are his three awesome kids.
    RIP John.

John was one of the purest, kindest, most hardworking people I’ve ever met. I remember the last time we met in 2023 when he was telling me stories about his experiences with life and sports. It felt like I was just getting to know the awesome guy that he was, since I was adolescent before then. I wish I could spend just one more day with him to hear more stories. Rest in peace John, your legacy will live on forever in our hearts!
