Joseph DeLorenzo

February 6, 1951 - December 11, 2020

Funeral Details:

It is with great sadness the family of Joseph DeLorenzo announce that he lost his brave and arduous battle with Glioblastoma on Friday, December 11th, 2020; he was 69 years of age.  Joe was the only beloved son of Theresa DeLorenzo and the late Giuseppe (Joseph/Peppy) DeLorenzo; cherished brother of Shelly, Wendy, Paula and Carolyn.  Joe is survived by his sons, Anthony (Sierra), Nick and Samm and lovingly remembered by his grandsons, Corrado, Kodak and Hawkeye.  Joe was retired; he began his career in Real Estate in Barrie in the early 1970’s.  He later relocated to Calgary for several years with former wife, Norma.  They settled permanently in London, ON where he became an entrepreneur operating his own inventory business and general store.  He played soccer, golf and enjoyed fishing!  Joe was predeceased by his sister, Ann Marie.  He will fondly be remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.  He will truly be missed and remain forever in our hearts.  Sincerest gratitude and commendation to the entire staff at the Bob Rumball Home for the Deaf for their exceptional quality of compassionate care they provided to Joe including their amazing support given to Carolyn; his essential caregiver.  After cremation, a private family celebration of Joe’s life will be held pending the Covid pandemic restrictions.  Online condolences www.peacefultransition.ca
