After a long period of illness, Ken passed away peacefully at Mill Creek Care Center, Barrie, Friday, March 31st, 2017, in his 87th year. Ken, husband of Doreen, for nearly 65 years, was father to Gary (Alison), Stephen, Janet (Dave), Andrew and Jennifer (John). He will be fondly remembered by his 12 grandchildren and his great granddaughter and great grandson. He will now be joining his parents, brother and nephew. He will also be remembered by his brother in law, Ron(Anne) and his three nieces. In regards to our father’s wishes, he has been cremated and a Celebration of Life service was held April 6, 2017 at the Canadian Legion, Barrie with all his family and close friends. If desired, in memory of Ken, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
