Kim Elizabeth Pain

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kim Elizabeth Pain (née Hayes) who left this world peacefully on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre surrounded by her loving family.

Over the course of her 61 years, she lived with a tenacity that inspired so many everyday to stand taller, speak louder and love harder.

Kim was the loving wife and best friend of Harold (Hank) Pain and much-loved mother of Andrew (de. 1984), Amber and Megan.  Proud and loving Grammy of Andrew, Morley and Ryleigh-Rose.

Predeceased by her father Jim Hayes (Pat) and survived by her mother Alice Mills.  Sister of Patty (de. 2024) (Ron), Roger (Monique), Sylvia, Jamie (Jen) and B.J.  Sister-in-law of Bob (Bonnie), Mary, Carol, Barb (Dave), Dave (Lori) and Cheryl.

She will be deeply missed by so many nieces and nephews, as well as many great-nieces and nephews.

Kim will always be remembered for her kind and generous soul and beautiful smile.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Dorian Park Centre (227 Sunnidale Rd, Barrie, ON).
