Lenora Jean Dawson, 88 years old, passed peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on December 7, 2015.
Born June 3, 1927 Lenora lived in Toronto for most of her life and worked for the CIBC. Five years ago she moved to Innisfil Ontario. Lenora was preceded in death by her husband George Dawson in 1988.
Survived by her two sisters, Marlene Barnard and Margie Baylis, her two sons and their spouses, Richard & Janet Dawson of Innisfil, Randy and Loraine Dawson of Markham, her four grandchildren, Andrea Dawson, Rick Dawson, David Dawson and Danielle Dawson and one great grandchild, Adrian Dawson.
A “Celebration of Life” will be held Monday December 21st, 2015 at 12:00 noon at “The Spoke” 15 Main Street, Innisfil, Ontario L9S 1R7. The Spoke is in the retirement park Sandycove Acres, where Lenora lived.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cardiac Care Unit of the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, Ontario would be appreciated. Donations may be made in Lenora’s memory directly through the RVH website www.rvh.on.ca or cheques can be made payable to RVH Cardiac Care Unit and mailed to 16-431 Bayview Dr. Barrie, On L4N 8Y2. Please make sure to include Lenora’s name and a return address so that we may forward the information to the family.
