Funeral Details:

Lewis David Jackson "Buddy", Age 78 at Royal Victoria Hospital on Dec 15th 2015 of congestive heart failure and cancer.

Born June 12th 1937 in Toronto Ontario Canada, he lived in Toronto, Brampton and Barrie Ontario and Worked for Smith Transport (US) and The Toronto Transit Commission 25 years retired June 1992. Lewis was a member of the Acacia Masonic Lodge, and the Rameses Shriners.

Survived by, his loving wife Linda, Daughter Brenda, Sons David, James, Greg and Glen. Brothers, Gary, William, Richard and sister Judy. Grandchildren Jason, Derek, Stephen, Sean, Ryan, Christopher, Thomas, Melissa and Miles. Great Granddaughter Anika. Lewis was preceded in death by his father Lewis, mother Olive, brother Donald.

Lew was a caring soul, who always showed such kindness. He will be missed for his inteligence, his wonderful sense of humor and his infectious laugh and smile. May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sunshine warm upon your face. And the rain fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the hollow of his hand.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00pm, Sat Dec 19th at The Hub recreation center, Sandy Cove Acres, Relatives and friends are welcome at The Hub, Weeping Willow Drive and Lockhart Road, Innisfil Ont. Lewis chose to be cremated, without a formal service, and his ashes will be present at the celebration. Lew's ashes will be buried with his father in the spring of 2016 in a private ceremony.

    Linda my deepest sympathy goes out to you and all the family.  I am so sorry for your loss and hope that good memories of Lew will add joy to your lives in the days ahead.

    So hard to lose a loved one at Christmas.  You are all in my prayers as you have the Celebration of Life today.  I trust it will help to bring you comfort.  I am just so sorry I could not be there.

    I worked with Lew at the TTC for a number of years and always respected his work ethic and intelligence, and I also enjoyed his sense of humour.  My condolences on his passing.

    This was my long lost uncle. Lewis. I never got to meet him as I was adopted at age of 3 with brother and sister to the father of Richard Jackson whom I am the sun of. My Biological name was Brian Richard Jackson. Looking for. My family. Sorry to post here. But this is the first time I have seen my uncle’s face
