Linda Gail Cranfield, born February 21, 1954 passed away March 5, 2014 at the age of 60 in the company of family, friends and the compassionate caregivers of Hospice Simcoe in Barrie, Ontario.
Linda, daughter of Ron Cranfield and the late Gloria Cranfield, will be sadly missed by her "Barrie family" and friends; Sarah Fraser Struck (Goddaughter) and Nick, Jennifer Fraser (Goddaughter), long time friend Les Fraser, housemate Gwen Fraser, and the many dear friends who cared for her: Linda, Dawn, John, Mary, Kelly, Maya, Louise and many more.Linda moved from Vancouver to Toronto and most recently to Barrie where she lived with her beloved dog Mellow and cats Pipper and Willow. She was dedicated to her work as an office manager but even more so to her extended family. Linda enjoyed crocheting, and many of her family are blessed with her creations; she also liked to cook, swim and travel in her spare time.
Linda will be fondly remembered for her eternal optimism and memorable laugh. She was a kind soul with a giving heart, willing to do anything for those she cared about.
A memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced by email.
