Marcus Talbot Lester born on July 19, 1933, of Barrie Ontario passed away January 27, 2026. 92 years young.
Loving brother to Rodger(deceased) and Della Lester (deceased).
Marc was married to his beloved wife, Mary, for 64 years. In those years they raised five children: Debbie, Michael, Marcus (deceased), David (deceased), and Cindy. He was grandfather to eight and delighted in the joy brought by a growing number of great-grandchildren. His legacy will continue through these cherished family members.
One of his greatest joys was spending time with family and friends. He was very good at calling different ones on a regular basis and always had a story or two to tell. Several people mentioned how he would call and help them out through a difficult time.
Marc was also known for his unwavering work ethic. He never shied away from hard labor. Even into his mid-70’s where he was found helping to bring in heavy bales of hay. He was also always willing to help anyone who was moving. In fact, he enjoyed it. A testament to his enduring spirit and dedication to his friends.
Marcus always believed in God, but it wasn’t until he was in his mid 50’s when he really come to know Jehovah. I remember how he and my mom took time out every day to study God’s word. He loved attending meetings and being out in the ministry with friends from the congregation. We look forward to seeing him again under God kingdom arrangement.
