Passed away peacefully on May 18, 2025, at the age of 78 years.
Beloved wife of Buddy “Bud” for over 60 wonderful years. Loving mother of Michael (Beverly), and Sandra. Cherished nana of Christal (Jesse), Nicole, Katelyn (Ryan), Christopher, David (Taylor), and Robert (Shannon); and proud great-nanna of Cali, Addison, Kassidi, Emma, Austin, Rylee, and Rhett.
Dear sister of Patricia (Jeff) and the late Rick, and sister-in-law of Sue. Fondly remembered by her nephew Jeffrey (Collette), and predeceased by her niece Joan.
Marilyn was deeply devoted to her family and will be remembered for her warm and welcoming spirit. She was the heart of many cherished traditions, including her famous gingerbread parties and large family Christmas gatherings. Her competitive streak was matched by her fun-loving nature, and her love and dedication to family remained constant throughout her life.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Posted on: Wednesday, May 21, 2025There is never enough time to prepare yourself to say goodbye.
And , during this sad time, there will be hugs and tears. There will be people who don’t know what to say and some who can still make you laugh. There will be pictures and keepsakes, memories and stories….some that you have never heard before and some you can’t hear enough of. There will be sorrow and there will be celebration. But most of all, there will be love; the kind that never ends.
With sincere sympathy to Bud and all of Marilyn’s family and friends,
With love, John & Gwen / Grandpa and Grandma
