A piece of our hearts left when this new angel got her wings.
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Mary Theresa McGill (nee Henderson) on Nov 19, 2025 with her daughters by her side. Predeceased by her husband Paul McGill and her parents Gerald and Clara Henderson.
Loving mother of Debbie Aiken (Tom) and Shelley Foster (Shawn Bacon). Mary will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Alexandra Robinson (Bob), Paul Aiken, Tyler Foster, Cole and Caitlin Bacon and also her cherished great grandchildren Jaxon and Ava. She will be greatly missed by her brothers Bob, Lloyd and Jack Henderson (Carol) and her sisters Corinne McCallum and Geri Turk (Lee) and their families, and will be fondly remembered by her nieces Mary Prokopich (John) and Dianne Puskaric (Dennis).
She will be missed dearly by her close friends Kim and Sherry and all those who were lucky enough to have crossed paths with her at Delta Bingo. May there be a bingo in heaven and a B13 waiting!
Mary was extremely giving and touched all our lives with her open heartedness, generosity, patience of a saint and of course the best apple pie in the world!
A special thank you is extended to the doctors and nurses in the palliative care team at RVH for their kindness, compassion and gentleness.
At Mary’s request cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Peaceful Transitions
