It is with heavy hearts we announce Norman’s sudden passing on November 14, 2017 at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie in his 72 year. Beloved friend and partner of Joyce Robertson of Barrie. Beloved father of Lisa Sweeney of Edmonton, AB, Christie Perrin of Calgary, AB and Tammy Miller of Penticton, B.C. Cherished grandfather to 7 grandchildren. Survived by his siblings Ed Sweeney of Brighton, On., Brian Sweeney of Barrie, On., Linda Sallans of Barrie, On., Beverley Murray of Barrie, On., Barry Sweeney of Barrie, On., Norma Jean Swackhammer of Langley, B.C., Jim Sweeney of Ancaster, On., Neil Hodgson of Midland, On., and Dale Sweeney of Angus, On. Pre-deceased by his parents Irene Sweeney and Norman Sweeney and wife Sharon.
In keeping with Norman’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
