Paul David Verner

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul David Verner, who died on August 21, 2025, at the age of 60.  Born on November 8, 1964, Paul was the beloved son of the late Patrick Verner and the late Georgette Verner.

Paul was a cherished brother to Dean Verner, Daniel Verner, and Kristi Verner.  He was a cherished brother-in-law to Dan's wife, Linda Neill, Dean's partner, Sherry, and Kristi's partner, Gary.  Paul was a loving uncle to Emilie, Elizabeth, and Cole.

Paul will be deeply missed.

He was always there for every family occasion, ready with his dry wit and a smile.

Paul's dedication to getting things done was evident throughout his life.  From his determination to complete his education, to his strong work ethic.

Over the years he found happiness in his favourite activities which included walking local trails, tinkering with his boats and spending time with his close friends.  A lot of that time was spent at the family cottage on Tea Lake.

Paul was a genuine friend, unpretentious and always there for you.  He earned your respect and if you earned his, in return he offered a friendship that was unwavering.

The Family would like to thank the caring, supportive staff at the Cortellucci Stroke Recovery Unit for making his time there as comfortable as possible.

In lieu of flowers or gifts donations in Paul’s name to The Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
