Ralph Forsberg of Barrie, ON, formerly of Kapuskasing, ON, passed away at the age of 81 on Sunday December 29th, 2013 with his wife and daughters at his side. He was born December 4th, 1932 in Kapuskasing to the late Birger and Ruth Forsberg. He worked for Spruce Falls Pulp and Paper Mill in Kapuskasing. He enjoyed euchre, golf and time with family and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Isabelle of 34 years, a baby daughter and sister Ethel. Ralph is survived by his wife, Louise, son Ralph Jr. of Kapuskasing (Allison), and daughters Karla Desjardins of Brockville (Greg) and Erica Hayward of London (Mike) as well as many nieces and nephews. He will be fondly remembered by his 5 grandchildren: Carling Forsberg, Erik and Brayden Desjardins, and Brennan and Markus Hayward. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Heart & Stroke foundation ww.heartandstroke.com or the Alzheimer's society www.alzheimer.ca. A celebration of life to be held in Kapuskasing will be announced at a later date.
