Richard William Packer

Richard, aged 71, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2023, at Mariposa House Hospice. He was the beloved husband of Chrystina for over 50 years and the loving father of Chrystie (Dean), Ashley (Brian), and Melyssa. Richard was a cherished grandfather to Aidan, Lyvia, Isabelle, Everley, Sawyer, and Marmie.

Richard's passion for horses was evident in his younger years, and he especially cherished his favorite horse, Thunder. His garage mancave was his special retreat, where he spent countless hours throughout the year. Richard enjoyed history, westerns, especially John Wayne movies, and he was a dedicated fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey team. Known for his strong work ethic, Richard never missed a day and was never late.

Richard leaves behind fond memories that will be cherished by his family and loved ones. In accordance with his wishes, a private cremation has taken place.
