SCOYNE, Roberta Joyce (nee Ball)

Our beautiful mother, sister, nana, great nana and friend, passed away on Friday September 29^th at Hospice Simcoe in Barrie at the age of 80.  After a courageous 6 year battle with cancer, Roberta surrendered her fight. Surrounded by her family, the angels came and took her home.

Beloved wife of the late Douglas Scoyne. Survived by her cherished and lifelong friend Wayne Wheeler, the father of their children. Loving mother of daughters Maureen and husband Fred, Karen and her late husband Richard Forest, Kimberlee and husband Steve. Love and missed Nana of Brianne, Victoria, Nicholas, Valerie, Travis, Brandon, and Justin. Great Nana to Emily, Jeffrey, Sophie. Dear Sister of Francine and husband Peter, loved “auntie Berta” to Kelly and the late Kirsten Koppeser.

In keeping with Roberta’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Please join us on Saturday October 14 2017 between 1 and 4pm for a celebration of life at Ferndale Banquet Hall, 24 Ferndale Industrial Dr, Barrie Ontario L4N 9W2. In lieu of flowers, donations in Roberta’s name would greatly be appreciated to Hospice Simcoe for the impeccable tender loving care Roberta received from everyone there.
