Funeral Details: Cremation has taken place, and private family arrangements have been made.
Passed away peacefully on May 25, 2025, at the age of 94. Beloved mother of Brian Reid (Linda), and Carol Potter (Malcolm). Cherished grandmother of Travis Potter (Lauren), Mishel Potter, Curtis Reid (Victoria), and Jaclyn Connery (Michael); and proud great-grandmother of Hendrix Potter, Riley Reid, and Benson Reid.
Ruth dedicated her life to caring for others, working as a Registered Nurse in Burlington and Owen Sound. She was known for her warm spirit, her quick wit, and her love of music. If there was singing or piano music to be found, Ruth would be close by. She was an active member of the Church choir and brought joy to many with her sense of humor and song.
In her later years, Ruth made her home in Barrie, where she was a resident of Simcoe Terrace and the I.O.O.F. Home.

She brightened up every room she was in with her sense of humour and her antics.
She will be very missed by all of us!
