Funeral Details: At Shirley’s request, cremation will take place. A private celebration of life will take place.
Shirley Alicia Monger (Neff) of Barrie, passed away peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital, on February 16, 2026 in her 88th year.
Pre-deceased by her husband Bill. Loving mother to Brian (Patti), Stephen and Greg. Grandmother to Alicia Carter (Andrew), Jason and Jeffrey. Dear G.G. of Brooklyn, Charley Carter and Chelsea Monger.
Shirley wintered in Florida for years, where she played Shuffleboard and participated in many tournaments.
In 2020 Shirley moved into Allandale Retirement home and was the social butterfly. She will be sadly missed by all residents and staff.
Cremation and arrangements are entrusted to Peaceful Transition of Barrie.
