LAMOUREUX, Theresa Rita (nee Cadeau)

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Royal Victoria Hospital at the age of 86.  Beloved wife of the late Stan Lamoureux who predeceased Theresa in 1997.  Loving mother of Valerie (Paul) Roe, Donna Lamoureux, Linda (Leo) Hiltz, Bruce (Jackie) Lamoureux and Noreen (Brian Alford) Lamoureux.  Cherished nanny of 13 and great grandmother of 4.  Theresa is survived by her sister Shirley Gilbraith.

In keeping with Theresa’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  The family will receive friends at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minets Point Road, Barrie on Saturday, August 20, 2016 from 11 a.m. until the time we celebrate her life at 12 p.m.  Reception to follow.  As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Alzheimer’s Society of Simcoe County.   A special thank you to the nurses at Royal Victoria Hospital on the 4^th floor, geriatric unit.   Messages of condolence can be left at www.peacefultransition.ca  Funeral arrangements entrusted to Peaceful Transition Inc.
