    Dear Barb
I am so deeply sad for you in loosing your dear father.  I will never forget his wonderful stories & the happy evenings we spent together with my parents Jack & Frances.  Those were good times Barb.  Maybe a little more innocent times too.  Of course I have to remember your dear Mom too.  Also, we need to remember Fritz who was always welcome.

Dennis and Michael send their love to you.

If you are down this way to Ancaster I would enjoy seeing you at Mary & Stan’s.

    Love, Pat

Wilf was a Controller in Hamilton Tower when I first started in ATC. I always looked forward to not only work with him but also the times we’d meet after he retired. Akways cheerful and positive. Sadly missed but happy to have known him.

So sorry to hear of your father’s passing. I spent years at Hamilton tower controlling with him and Reg and, after retirement, meeting and talking with him at Phyliss’s (Bill Bryce’s widow) numerous birthday and retirement parties.
May he rest in peace in Heaven.

    Barb,

Your dad, Wilf, was such a kind and jovial man.  He was so good natured, and always positive.  I always enjoyed his joy at the prospect of a good meal and good cocktail.  He lived a very full life, and you certainly helped him greatly along the way.

Barbara – looking at old pics, and dabbling in my Rutherford tree, I came across pics of your parents from when we met them and enjoyed dinner with them at Tucker’s Marketplace Restaurant in Burlington on Oct. 18, 2002. So, I decided to Google them and discovered Ruth passed in 2004 and your Dad just this year. I am 2nd cousin to Ruth (I think).   My condolences to you, I thought they were a wonderful couple.  I am now widowed and live in Chilliwack BC.
