William Owen Barkley

William Owen (Bill) Barkley passed away peacefully surrounded by his closest family at the royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, on Friday January 23, 2015 at the age of 52. He will be greatly missed by his son Will, mother Sadie and sister Laura, but most especially by his partner, Sandra.

He would claim his greatest accomplishments in life as: his son Will who possesses kindness beyond measure; meeting the love of his life Sandra and her wonderful family Rebecca, Shy-An, Bonny and Gerry who gave him a soft place to land; having the career of his choice, not just a job; and being a good friend.

I miss the way you sound,

I miss having you around.

Whenever things got me down,

You were always safe ground.

Thanks to the doctors and staff at RVH who were wonderful and to the Eye Bank for making something good happen.

Celebration of Life to be held Saturday March 28, 2015  from noon to 2 p.m. @ the Bond Head Community Hall  2892 County Rd 27.

Hwy 400 to Hwy 88 westbound for 2 km. If travelling west on Hwy 88, the hall is just on the right side after making a left onto CR 27 at the lights.
