James Hudspeth, age 60, passed away at Southlake Regional Hospital on May 7, 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Survivors include his wife Angela (nee Coyle), daughter Megan, sister Lynn, brother Todd (Nicki), and mother-in-law Gisela Coyle, as well as nieces, nephews, and extended family far too numerous to name.
James is predeceased by his father Edward, mother Barbara Troehler, and uncle David Peavy.
Born March 21, 1966, in Lexington, Kentucky a self-proclaimed “army brat” that moved around a lot, finally settling in Canada. James explored many career paths before landing at Home Depot tool rental as a technician.
James will forever be remembered for his generosity, warm heart, keen sense of humour, and love of cooking and feeding others. He always had a story to tell, often funny, and had a vast knowledge of almost every movie ever made.
Memorial service to be held from 2 - 6 pm on Saturday, May 16th in the basement recreation room at 20 William Roe Blvd, Newmarket, Ontario, Canada. Parking across the street at any of the plazas. Relatives and friends welcome.
